I'm stalled on Les Miz, somewhere near the middle of the first book. I may end up skipping it and going back to it later. I think, also, that I'm so slow with it is that a) I've been exceedingly busy at school-- tests and papers and midterms next week-- and b) the edition I checked out from the library is very, very heavy and not at all conducive to carrying it around with me. So I'm stuck trying to read it at home and that doesn't go well because when I'm home I tend to laze about a lot. D:

My currently reading list, including start dates, this time in order of start date first:
Vagabond Voyaging - Larry Nixon (12 Aug.)
Vanity Fair - William Makepeace Thackeray (22 Sept.)
A Passion for Books - Various (15 Sept.)
The Waterworks - E.L. Doctorow (29 Sept.)

There's a few others but I don't think I'm going to finish them any time soon.

The Waterworks isn't as good as I thought it'd be, mostly because the author keeps using ellipses in weird places-- the middle of a sentence, for instance, when there isn't any call for an ellipses. And it's not as if he's only using them sparingly; I keep encountering them page after page after page. It's actually really annoying. If I can get over that, though, I might be able to actually finish it.

I think this blog will become increasingly more important and/or updated, since it's been helping me keep track of when I started to read books and that's always handy.
